"Nah, I've never had to smoke for comedowns, maybe one or two hangovers tho.. Don't tell anyone. It's secret yes?" He chuckled, whispering it like a huge secret.
A smirk seemed to appear upon his face when a very punny idea popped into his head. "I can assure you, I am not your daddy, I much to young." Snickering he seemed very upbeat since the conversation switched off of him. It didn't mean he didn't feel bad for her, but his own demons were to much for him to bare. "I'm sorry although. No one should grow up without a father.."
Sparking up the joint he made sure to have the windows rolled down for her. Usually he hot boxed, but he didn't want to accidentally get her high. "Well.. A few months before Mr. A found me.. I lost my parents to bandits... Some things happened, bing, bang, boom.. I'm able to use this." Reaching back he pulled a very beautiful wooden staff that had a very beautiful lotus bud on the end. However it was not in bloom, but beautifully decorated, ancient etchings carved along the entire shaft. "It's ancient magic.. ehh.. abit of a gray area in the dark or light magic area.." Each rune began to fill up, pulsing with frost energy, extending from his touch outwards. Suddenly small ice vines began to grow along the twig.
"I was not born any sort of special.. At first. I believe this was curse.." With that he took a drag of the joint.

She couldn't help but give a soft laugh when he whispered his fake secret to her, and even more as he joked about being her daddy. As he lifted the wooden staff her dark magenta eyes went to the lotus and she gazed at it quietly for a moment and then nodded. It was truly beautiful and she wondered a bit how it worked. Her eyes went to his face, she always believed that how people referred to their power revealed a lot about them. A curse meant he would be rid of it if he could. But then he had said at first... which could mean he had come to accept it.
"I've haven't been a fan of the cold for a very long time. I like... a nice warm fire and snuggling near it with hot chocolate and a big soft fuzzy blanket." she sighed softly and happily at just the idea. "So... your ability gives you control over ice? I think you're in luck then... there's quite a few ice users in the school so I'm sure you're going to be able to get a lot of help with controlling your ability." she pointed out. "My abilities would suck against you, but if you went against Aurelian I'm sure he must have mopped the floor with you." she teased him, gently reaching over to give his arm a playful push.

"Ah yeah, you could say that. I control all ice, even creates it out of nothing. Old, old magic from my land. There was a long tale behind it.. But I never paid much mind. Guess I should have, would have saved me lots of grief." Aisu couldn't help but chuckle. It felt hollow however, but still a chuckle none the less. He remembered how hard it had been to control at first. It would have saved him a ton of grief if he had just paid attention to his mother as a young boy.
When she mentioned other people he shrugged. "I don't know if many people use it like this, I still don't even know what half of this says. To be honest." Taking nothing hit of the joint he handed it over to her. "There is also some bad magics in it, but it doesn't work for anyone but me.." The blue runes began to slowly fade whilst it rested in her care. "No worries it won't bite you. Promise." He grinned, exhaling outside the window. Wincing when she mentioned the principle he nodded.
"He was not very kind, he floor moped me." He nodded with a smile.

She listened to him for a bit, a soft smile on her face as she listened to him. His English was terrible... she was going to have to really help him with that since he was going to have to take English classes. Still her eyes moved down to the staff in her hands and she could feel her heart racing a little... feeling a force within it. She moved her fingers slowly up the staff, tracing the knotches and numbs before reaching up to softly touch the lotus. It sparked, sending a jolt through her like she had never felt in her life.
A burst of energy rushed around them, her dark magenta eyes glowed green as she was taken mentally to a whole other realm. Before her... was an amazingly large tree. It had blossoms and leaves of every species she knew and species she never knew existed. The bark shimmered unlike anything she had ever seen and she was brought to her knees at the very sight of it. The wind around her was cold though, fridgid and burned her skin when it blew against her. From behind a tree a person moved out and gazed at her. He was ancient... as ancient as the tree. He didn't seem to have a true form, wavering and changing before her eyes and yet... remained the same. "My, my... it seems you have come far earlier than expected. Now is not your time young one... tell him to be more careful when he is around you." The man moved forward and reached out, and as Lien went to reach to him, to object to his and ask him questions she was sent back to her body like the snap of a rubber band.
She blinked several times and though it had only been a moment she could feel the cold still on her skin still, settling in and gripping her. She looked up at Aisu, blinking in confusion as she struggled to breath. Now she was starting to panic for another reason as she released the staff and fumbled quickly. The edges of her vision were darkening and as she managed to fumble into her pocket and get the inhaler out, her hands were shaking too hard... pulling the cap off sent the inhaler to the floor somewhere and she couldn't get it... she couldn't breath. Coughing hard her body went limp from the lack of oxygen.

When she took his staff he didn't expect much of anything to happen. Every person he had let hold it had no reaction, in fact with some it would give them a small jolt of frost. However it didn't seem to be the case this time. When she began to freeze he knew what she had come into contact with. "Shit, shit, shit.. What's up?"
With the last of his roach he had taken a drag before noticing the inhaler fall from her pocket to the ground. "Oh!" Quickly he snatched up the instrument, "Uh.. Shit.." She had begun to go limp, even as he pressed it to her lips their was no reaction to her state. "Fuck!" He now started to panic, taking a last hit he tossed the joint out the window. Pressing the small mechanical device to his lips he sprayed it into his mouth before moving to her quickly. A thin wall of ice coated the inside of his throat, the staff firmly in his grip was glowing vibrantly now from it's usage. Leaning down he quickly pressed his lips to her own, the ice in his throat breached when he began to exhale. Pushing slightly cooled vapor into her, he steadied himself to slowly push the medical vapor from her inhaler into her lungs.

The edges of darkness was now full blown darkness as could feel the abyss calling to her. Something cold pressed to her lips... a funny taste with familiarity spread through her mouth as she felt a surge of air rush into her lungs. It was harsh and yet helpful at the same time as she inhaled and her lung ways opened again. She didn't have the strength to sit up but her dark magenta eyes fluttered open to see Aisu above her. His mouth was against her own till he pulled back and she coughed a few times weakly. Her face was flushed with embarrassment as she laid weakly against him. "Th.. thanks.." she whispered faintly, and winced as she tried to force herself to sit up more. She felt dizzy and tired from the rush but mostly she just felt like a damn idiot for having an attack in front of a stranger. And even more now she felt this strange floaty feeling.

When she began to come around he sighed heavily with relief. "Whoa, wow, holy fuck. Are you ok?" He was out of breath, she had felt warm, vibrant even to his skin. He just couldn't explain it, but he was just glad she wasn't passed out in his car after curfew. "No problem. Here you go.." Helping her up into the seat he also handed her the inhaler. "I didn't know what else to do, you looked like death. Sorry for using without permission. I've never seen anyone react like that with my stick before. Does that happen often?.." His curiosity took mind of the her almost dying, hopefully.. Just for the moment to break any awkwardness. "Asthmatic? by chance?" He rolled up the windows getting some warm air into the car, turning up the ac to a warmer temperature, pointing them at her to warm her further.

Her eyes averted as she took the plastic inhaler from his hand, her fingers played with it for a moment before she placed it back to her lips and took another deep inhale and then pocketed it once again, but this time in her jacket so it was within easier reach. "Yeah... I'm... I'm okay." she whispered and looked back up at him. "I've never... had that type of reaction to anything. And yeah.. my lungs don't.. work as well as they should. I grew up in a heavily polluted area as a child so they didn't develop right." she whispered softly. It didn't help that her mother had been a chain smoker... the amount of second hand smoke Lien grew up with had damn near destroyed her under developed lungs, causing many health issues. Lien swallowed hard and turned to Aisu, gazing into his eyes. "I saw.. a man near the most beautiful tree. He told me it wasn't my time yet... and that... you are to be careful around me." Saying it out loud made her feel like a crazy person... but she didn't know what to think She still felt so deeply in shock over it all.

Nodding softly he felt a pang of dread, he had been smoking around her without even a second thought. "I'm so sorry.. I didn't know I wouldn't have infront of you. I could've caused it." Feeling bad enough he made sure to help her adjust before buckling his seat belt back into place. She still seemed abit out of it, but he was purely convinced it had been the smoke from him that caused the attack. However when she began again he stood still, listening to her intently, any blood in his face had since drained from her words.
"Y-You.. Saw.. Vor'Kul.." Clearing his throat his demeanor had changed almost dramatically. "Only I have seen him.. How.." Taking his staff in hand he clutched it tightly. "No one has seen Vor besides me since.. Ever.. Only priestesses or shamans get a mere glimpse of him.. How did you.." Not only did he seem awestruck, but afraid of what that might mean. Aisu felt like there was a giant lump in his throat when he went to swallow, only people who could use this staff would see Vor'Kul.. Or if one was close to death.

She drew slow deep breaths, making sure her lungs were clear and good despite the floaty feeling she was still having. But by the way he paled and when she mentioned the man she had seen it got her attention even more. She pushed the bangs from her face and rubbed her neck a little bit before relaxing against the back of his car's seat. "I didn't exactly catch a name... but I get the feeling that I am supposed to meet him again. He said it wasn't my time yet and that means I am supposed to go again." she pointed out and frowned as little as she thought about his words carefully... but also the feelings that had come with them. "I just.. I feel like something more was there and he felt so familiar in such a strange way." her eyes closed slowly, the event had sapped her of energy, and as a plant she didn't really have much to spare.
Aurelian Kinzoku: Yes I would rather not want to buy more computers because of one little slip up..

Lenny Robertson: I will tell you now, please do not ruin the computers or else you will be paying for a whole new one. We could make you help the janitorial staff for a while until we see the debt is paid. But that is totally up to you.

Silver Kinzoku: And we all know that Principla Kinzoku would be more than happy to put you on janitorial service to work off paying for a computer broken. Or torturing you during detention for breaking said rule.

Ichabod: I have told Aurelian that if any of his students gets out of hand to send them my way. I have a large graveyard to take care of and only two hands to do it.

Canary La Muerte: it's too dang cold to be doing volunteer work for the city. I think i'll just wake up a little earlier and enjoy cocoa in the cafeteria.

Ichabod: But we have coffee and cocoa at the work cabin. It will be fun.

Kveldulf Argenlet: If graveyard work is insufficient, the park ranger of the Kumorai Forest informed me he needs volunteers to help remove invasive plants and dig fire ditches.

Lien Braska: He gave me towel duty once... i think the students get the idea. No monkey business.
Dec 14, 2014 11:25:43 GMT -8
Kveldulf Argenlet: There is an overwhelming amount of towels from the PE department that need washing, and frankly I'm rather tired of cleaning after your messes.

Ichabod: Isn't that part of the job description?
Dec 14, 2014 21:07:20 GMT -8

Zariah Marie Weaver: Ew... I wouldn't get caught dead washing those disgusting towels.
Dec 17, 2014 20:32:45 GMT -8
