Samael has a lean build and rather milky white skin which greatly contrasts with his clothing style of dark and baggy. He wears whatever is most comfortable, and seeing as he gets easily hot, one layer of clothing and a light jacket seem to suit him well in most weather conditions. His hair is midnight black and falls to his shoulders when not in a ponytail; however, half of his head is shaved as well as the outer half of his eyebrows. He dons a good number of piercings, some being one eyebrow, three in each ear, a lip piercing, and a tongue piercing. His body is also covered with tattoos that are not very well hidden by his clothing choices. Either way, he couldn't care less if people gawk at him for these things or not; he simply enjoys his own style and wouldn't trade it for anything less. On the other hand, something he would change is his eyes: whereas he would much rather have more normal eyes, he sports a pair of crimson red eyes where the whites have been changed to the darkest of blacks. He stands at a not-so-intimidating 5'10" (although platform boots help boost him higher at times) and weighs 150 lbs.
Personality:
Samael is a very relaxed young man with not many goals to reach for. He feels that he doesn't truly have to work hard to get where he needs to be in life and that, for the most part, his time to make a difference in this world won't be any time soon. As such, he enjoys every moment that comes his way and doesn't enjoy turning down opportunities unless the effects are a direct harm to others. He is quite calm and spends most of his time reading and studying, trying to gain as much knowledge as possible, and actually enjoys classes. He enjoys testing and is absolutely introverted, although when with friends, he can be excitable. All in all, he just wants to enjoy his time and further himself in his schooling to become the most knowledgeable that he can be.
Abilities:
The only thing "human" about Samael is the form that he takes; he is, in essence, a grim reaper who has not yet fully awakened his potential. Currently the only ability that he possesses is the one thing that he dislikes about himself: his eyes. They are like scanners, helping him to see perfectly in darkness and allow him flashes of memories like a video playing in his mind. He can see his own memories and those of others, but his seeing others' memories is limited to only a few seconds, and he cannot even do that if they have not given him explicit permission.
Dorm Description:
Much like one would expect, Samael's dorm is rather dark, but also artistic. His bed sheets are black as well as the rug and many of the decorations. There are more than a few candles and incense cones littering his room, so it does smell rather nice. He constantly keeps at least one of these burning when he is there as a way to relax. Porcelain skulls, red roses, and masks of many materials also found all throughout his space and bring a morbid and somewhat "creepy" air to the place.
Family History:
Samael is the offspring of a human and a reaper who fell in love. The human was a medium on her deathbed who saw the angel of death as he drew nearer to her. She instantly fell for him, and her feistiness intrigued the creature. Instead of taking her life, he decided to let her live in exchange for being able to keep track of her life afterward, and it took more than a few years for the reaper to finally return the affections that she was displaying to him. The resulting child was a sort of offer to the medium: grant offspring to the reaper, and he will bring her into the next life so they could be together for the rest of eternity and watch their child grow. She accepted after some debate and Samael was born, and, in the process, the mother crossed over to be with her lover. They now both watch over him, although he does not have the capabilities to see or even sense his parents yet. He was, however, left in the care of his human grandparents. They love him with all their hearts, but they are concerned that he's a very strange child, and though he doesn't have any bad habits, they worry about how the working world will view him when he finishes school. He's knows that he's not like other people, but he still is completely unaware that he's not human.
