It was her first day on campus, the temp for this class had been dismissed and so Silver had arrived early. No need for the box that negated powers so she stowed it away and turned to the white board to delicately write her name upon the board. Silver Kinzoku. The letters were swiveled, the penmanship beautiful even as she capped the marker and started to walk around the room and exam some of the motivational posters on the wall. Her closed toed black flats tapped lightly on the floor, black slacks were neatly pressed, and her white button down blouse was modest against her skin. Her flowing silvery white hair was pulled up and spun into a bun with every hair in place. She was neat and proper to say the least as she returned to her desk and sat down for a moment.
The first day of her teaching was crucial to her. Many of the students here had dealt with a temp who truly never understood what it was like to... lose control. She was here to show them the various forms of control, and how to manage and coexist with a gift that was not always believed to be a gift. But Silver knew well the feeling of a fluctuating ability... an ability that would reach out and grasp others by their throats and wring them of their power. She shuddered at the thought and drew a deep breath as she sat back in her chair, letting her head fall back a bit. She knew there would be students that could control themselves though... a select few that had already managed to get their abilities under control and now only sought how to better use them. Her golden eyes slid shut and she let her mind go to her travels, remembering beautiful scenery as somewhere in the background the bell rang.
A bell.. the bell to signal children would be filing into the room soon enough and fill up her seats. Was she truly ready for this? one on one was something she had often done but now this wasn't one on one anymore. It was twenty to twenty five of them focus on her. A group in which she would need to guide and control at the same time. A loose firm grip... a firm grip that knew when to let go? She shook the though from her mind and rose, going to her door and opened it up. She drew a deep breath and knew... she was ready for this as she smiled to the first few students who slunk into her room, the first morning period was usually the tired kind and Silver understood that well since she herself had once sat in these seats all those years ago.
