Welcome to Kumorai High School! Feel free to register, please do make sure to read the rules, and be curteous to other members on the board. If you have any questions feel free to ask an admin. We are currently still working on the site, so if you see errors let us know. If you see some weird coding pop up at any time that's probably just the Admin trying her hardest to work out the kinks in the system!

She threw some detergent into the washers and smirked as she started them up. "You are not watching the right television then. I love watching the nature shows as well as the history channel and pretty much any thing on plants. They have many channels on the cable Mr. Kinzoku has installed to the school with all the bad channels blocked." she smirked. "MTV, BET, Comedy Central, a lot of stuff that has things too adult for teens. It's not a lot of channels but what is on doesn't really rot the brain much." she smirked a bit and went back to the table to hop onto it and sit there. "I learned a few things from those shows... mostly the history stuff. It's too bad they have those silly shows like.. pawn stars on it. It has a little history but mostly it's personal stuff."

He listened, and when she had finished, he smiled, as if to end it. "Your curiosities, if fed, will lead to a wonderfully rich treasure of knowledge. Perhaps you have a point there; it's amazing that so many my age still refuse the young have anything to teach." He smiled sagely. He looked to her. "What do you enjoy learning about the most?" he asked her.

Lien bit her bottom lip gently and tilted her eyes upwards as she tried to think about it. "I suppose herbology and plants because of my abilities. But after that it would have to be... chemistry. I really enjoy learning chemical compositions and such." she nodded a bit, gazing at him as he acted so sagely. He really had to be intelligent, he always seemed to be in deep thought.

He smiled. "Ah. A smart one. Have you ever given any thought to what you might want to do after high school?" He asked. He believed that treated students, no matter how old, like normal human beings was the best thing you could do to earn their trust and respect. Let the ones with ego issues deal with them in their own time.

She wiggled her knees a bit and gave a shake of her head. "Nah... not really. I kinda want to try out college... Kumorai has been the first school that I really like and I hear the local college has some great programs but I'm really not sure what I want to do. But my powers... making plants grow and shit... it can really be beneficial in the science department." she pointed out. "I can start with just my basics... get my AS and keep moving from there. Plenty of years to choose." she grinned a bit but then turned her head as the washers started to slow down. "But college is expensive... the good part is I'm a foster kid so I do at least get some benefits from my junkie mother giving up her rights."
Aurelian Kinzoku: Yes I would rather not want to buy more computers because of one little slip up..

Aiden Darkstrife: What about a screw cap or a water bottle?

Deleted: Some sealable containers are trustworthy.

Deleted: Hmmm... No hot cocoa near the computers? Sounds like a rule to break.
Dec 3, 2014 20:42:43 GMT -8
Lenny Robertson: I will tell you now, please do not ruin the computers or else you will be paying for a whole new one. We could make you help the janitorial staff for a while until we see the debt is paid. But that is totally up to you.

Deleted: Sorry Mr. R, but you know me
Dec 4, 2014 16:25:49 GMT -8
Silver Kinzoku: And we all know that Principla Kinzoku would be more than happy to put you on janitorial service to work off paying for a computer broken. Or torturing you during detention for breaking said rule.

Ichabod: I have told Aurelian that if any of his students gets out of hand to send them my way. I have a large graveyard to take care of and only two hands to do it.
Dec 9, 2014 20:33:52 GMT -8
Canary La Muerte: it's too dang cold to be doing volunteer work for the city. I think i'll just wake up a little earlier and enjoy cocoa in the cafeteria.
Dec 11, 2014 17:18:59 GMT -8
Ichabod: But we have coffee and cocoa at the work cabin. It will be fun.
Dec 11, 2014 20:27:38 GMT -8
Kveldulf Argenlet: If graveyard work is insufficient, the park ranger of the Kumorai Forest informed me he needs volunteers to help remove invasive plants and dig fire ditches.
Dec 12, 2014 11:00:31 GMT -8
Lien Braska: He gave me towel duty once... i think the students get the idea. No monkey business.
Dec 14, 2014 11:25:43 GMT -8
Kveldulf Argenlet: There is an overwhelming amount of towels from the PE department that need washing, and frankly I'm rather tired of cleaning after your messes.
Dec 14, 2014 13:16:32 GMT -8
Ichabod: Isn't that part of the job description?
Dec 14, 2014 21:07:20 GMT -8
Silver Kinzoku: doesn't matter if it is... it can easily be pushed off onto a detention student. *smirk*
Dec 15, 2014 12:38:08 GMT -8
Zariah Marie Weaver: Ew... I wouldn't get caught dead washing those disgusting towels.
Dec 17, 2014 20:32:45 GMT -8
Renee Nakamura: Oh, do not worry. The nurses office has plenty of gloves and sanitary gels for the clean up. -Snickers-
Dec 19, 2014 20:11:38 GMT -8
Zariah Marie Weaver: I'm good. I'd rather just be smart and not get into trouble
Dec 28, 2014 16:58:38 GMT -8
Silver Kinzoku: Good to hear! Then things will run smooth.
