A gust of wind blew in as the doors to the recreation room opened, a young girl walking in as her dark brown hair whipped around her head until she closed the door. She sighed and brushed her hair out of her face, looking around the room as she adjusted the brown book bag on her shoulder. She smiled a bit and walked over to a couch and sat down, then bent over and opened her bag, pulling out a 3DS and a bottle of apple juice. She turned and reclined on the couch, turning on her game and relaxing as she started playing. The girl, known to some as Aeka, had been going to Kumorai throughout grade school. This year was her sophomore year, so she hoped things would get interesting this round. Last year she had been introverted and quiet, so she didn't have many friends. This year she decided she'd make more friends, even try and start a love life if she was lucky. For now though, she relaxed and played her game, taking a small pause every now and then to take a sip of her juice.

Aiden had been wondering around from jump spot to jump spot all afternoon. He was downright bored. His classwork was finished for the day, he finished it in class. His laundry and clothes were at a Laundry mat he found a few weeks back and he was fully fed. He had been to Japan to eat an authentic ramen lunch and France for breakfast, only coffee though. He enjoyed the atmosphere of other countries thought he was traveling illegally but if any official knew about it, he would be arrested for sure so he was always careful.
He was jumping around through Egypt and heard some noises he wasn't familiar with, it spooked him enough to jump him back to campus. He found himself in what was to be the rec room, in a short sleeve shirt and shorts...in autumn. He got cold and fairly quickly. He wasn't prepared to go home so quickly but he made it and he was safe. He looked down and saw that he was nearly ankle deep in sand and dirt from his jump. Aiden never understood why but on occasion he would carry some type of environment with him every time he jumped, and it aggravated him because he was always cleaning up a mess.
He sighed heavily and kicked the excess dirt from his feet, "Gotta find a broom and a dustpan." He walked away from his mess and appeared from a back from with his desire equipment. He stopped entirely as he saw the girl couch, "Oh, um, hello." He spoke a little nervously.

Aeka looked up at the voice and turned to see it's source, seeing a guy standing there with a broom. She smiled. "Oh hi, I didn't even hear you walk in." She sat up and stretched, then set her 3DS down and turned to watch him as she noticed the sandy dirt on his shoes. She tilted her head a bit in curiosity. "Geez, where were you that you got so dirty?" She looked up at him and smiled. "Doing a little off-roading?" She giggled, feeling in a good mood now that she met someone. She stood and extended her hand to him. "Forgive me for not introducing myself. I'm Aeka Kamachi...I'm a second year here."
Post by Aiden Darkstrife on Nov 21, 2014 22:46:16 GMT -8
Aiden snickered lightly to her words, "Yes, off-roading indeed." he said with a smile. She didn't need to know that he was actually in a completely different country. He dropped to one knee and began piling the mess into the dustpan. "I must have tracked it though, I hope there wasn't anymore sand about." He made the slight attempt to peer out towards the door, just for show of course. He patted down his clothes releasing more sand from the small folds of the shirt. At each pat he shivered quickly as he felt a slight breeze remember he was not properly attired for late Autumn weather. He cleaned up the rest of the dust and threw it away into the trash receptacle and quietly put away the tools.
He finally walked over to the couch and offered his hand to the new girl, at least she was new to him. He was first year so he wasn't friends of to many of the older classmates. "Aiden Darkstrife, First year." He said again still with the same kind smile he had.

Aeka watched in amusement as sand came off of him as if he'd been rolling in it. She smiled and nodded, grasping his hand and shaking it gently but slightly firmly. "Nice to meet you. She sat down, looking at the time as she looked at him and smiled. "Want to join me for a little lunch? I wasn't sure how hungry I would be so I made enough for two just in case.." She reached into her bag, pulling out a container of mixed fruit and a couple of meat and cheese sandwiches. She even pulled a second apple juice bottle out just in case he wanted it, since she had her own.

He smiled in response to her offer of lunch. He would gladly take her up on the offer but since he had already had lunch in Japan he really wasn't hungry. "I have already had my lunch and I am quite stuffed. I can keep you company, if you would prefer." He noticed the mixed fruit, meat and cheese. It wasn't the filling meal for lunch but to each there own he guessed.
Aiden always thought that the farmers meal was the best way to go. Full breakfast, hearty lunch and a light dinner. He had been on that type of eating cycle for as long as he could remember. He and his family weren't together much for a steady dining routine so he made his own and its worked out for him ever since and it would be a waste if he was to mess with his own routine this late in the game.
He smiled kindly and sat beside Aeka on the couch.

She nodded and smiled. "Sure. I'd love the company." She grabbed one of her sandwiches and started eating it, sitting back and relaxing as she looked at him. "So what do you do for fun? Besides off-roading?" She chuckled, eyeing his shoes a moment in amusement. She didn't want to be too pushy when it came to questions, so it was best to take it one thing at a time.

He laughed a bit and smiled at her glance down to his footwear. "I enjoy a bit of everything. I like to learn more often than anything else. I am what you would call a bibliophile." He had to tried to reiterate what he meant, it sounded a little dirty to him. "...I like books, they don't argue and talk back." He chuckled a bit at his wordage.
"What about yourself? What do you enjoy doing, other than playing your DS?" He figured he would pry a little bit, better to get to know more people if he could find common ground with them. Aiden liked playing video games as well but he was never really good at them.

Aeka laughed at his books comment and drank some more of her juice before eating the rest of her sandwich. "Hm...I like hanging out with friends, cooking, reading, playing games, watching movies....I would love to travel but I don't have the means to do so." She thought and shrugged. "But I'm always willing to try new things. Even if I suck at it." She giggled, eating a couple pieces of fruit. She looked at her DS. "I play some video games, not a lot though...I usually go for the easy kinds. Like Pokemon." She giggled.
Nicole sat in the dark corner, listening to the two talk. She had been there even before Aeka came in, and had seen everything, even Aiden popping up out of nowhere. Soon after their conversation had started, she had changed to her wolf form, hoping to eavesdrop. As she sat in between the wall and a chair, she picked bits of meat out of her fangs, while playing a zombie hunting game on her phone.
The last meal she had eaten was breakfast, so her stomach was growling. Shaking her head, she wished the girl had PB&J sandwiches instead of meat and cheese. Growling slightly, she stood up silently, pocketing her phone. Today she was wearing her usual gray tank top and black hoodie, with black leggings. Flipping the hood up, she covered her wolf ears. The hard thing to hide would be her eyes and fangs. Walking over to the two, her footsteps never made a sound.
"Excuse me." Nikki said with a hint of a growl, which she tried to cover up.

Aiden had been listening and watching what Aeka was saying and doing, he had been completely blindsided by the new girl in the room. The only thought that popped into his head was, how? He disappeared from the room, ending up in Hokkaido, where he had lunch but it was the middle of the night. He looked around and sighed, "Well, shit. I really need to calm down for a minute." He found a vending machine at the nearby train station, bought 3 drinks. Hot Coffee and 2 teas, one hot and one cold.
He sat down and calmed down quickly enough and teleported back into the room behind the new girl. He was a little red in the face, "Sorry about that, that tends to happen whenever I get spooked. You were so quiet, I didn't hear nor see you." He put the teas down on the table and took his seat again becoming slightly less red.
The dark haired girl just sighed as the boy disappeared, and turned toward the other female in the room. Flipping her hood back, she exposed her ears, and grinned. Reaching down, she grabbed one of the girl's sandwiches, and pulled the meat out. Swallowing it in one gulp, she sighed as the ache in her stomach faded. Flopping down onto the couch, her amber eyes twisted over to Aeka.
"Sorry about that, but if it wasn't the meat it could have been one of you." Nikki said, gesturing to her pearly white fangs. Hearing Aiden's voice, she turned her head to him. Instantly her features changed and she was peering at him through a green gaze. He wasn't exactly hard on the eyes.
Jumping up, she dusted her legs off and went back to her dark corner. Instead of sitting on the floor, she sat down in the chair.
"Sorry, I took your spot." Nik muttered, avoiding his gaze. Pulling out her phone and a stylus, she opened a drawing app on her phone and started on a black rose covered in thorns.

Aiden watched as the new girl walked back to her chair in the corner without saying anything to her, not that he didn't like her, he just didn't know what to say to her.
Now that he knew she was there he could keep himself calm enough to stay in the room without teleporting. He smiled a big smile at Aeka, "Yeah, that's what I meant about traveling." Now that he teleported in front of her he certainly can't act like it was some phenomenon.

Aeka jumped a bit and turned to see the girl, smiling a bit as she saw Aiden vanish. She blinked at where he was, trying to figure out if he was invisible or had teleported. She poked the air a bit, then watched the girl take the other sandwich she had. She didn't realize the girl had been there the whole time, feeling a bit like a fool for not seeing her and saying hi. She smiled at her and shrugged. "Oh it's fine. I made too much anyway. And I'd rather not be a chew toy." She smirked, eyeing the girl's fangs with a slight shiver down her spine.
She smiled at Aiden and giggled. "Well, maybe I could come with you sometime! I'll pay if you want though." She shrugged and ate another piece of her fruit, looking over at the other girl. "Hey, you can join us if you want.. I still got a big container of fruit and a spare apple juice if you want it." She smiled.

He laughed and shook his head, "No, its alright. I don't normally do it unless it happens on its own or if I really need to get our of a situation." He turned a slight shade of red, "Control and stability are my weaknesses but they do come in handy when in a pinch. Thought I could be just feet away or hundreds of miles away in an instant." He was a little disappointed that he couldn't quite control his ability but thinking about how it has helped him in the past, he figured that if he managed to take hold of the ability he would be able to do amazing things.
Aiden looked back at the new girl in her seat. "More the merrier, isn't that the saying?" said Aiden as he was trying to coax her out of her chair like she was a injured animal.
Aurelian Kinzoku: Yes I would rather not want to buy more computers because of one little slip up..

Aiden Darkstrife: What about a screw cap or a water bottle?

Deleted: Some sealable containers are trustworthy.

Deleted: Hmmm... No hot cocoa near the computers? Sounds like a rule to break.
Dec 3, 2014 20:42:43 GMT -8
Lenny Robertson: I will tell you now, please do not ruin the computers or else you will be paying for a whole new one. We could make you help the janitorial staff for a while until we see the debt is paid. But that is totally up to you.

Deleted: Sorry Mr. R, but you know me
Dec 4, 2014 16:25:49 GMT -8
Silver Kinzoku: And we all know that Principla Kinzoku would be more than happy to put you on janitorial service to work off paying for a computer broken. Or torturing you during detention for breaking said rule.
Dec 9, 2014 20:04:39 GMT -8
Ichabod: I have told Aurelian that if any of his students gets out of hand to send them my way. I have a large graveyard to take care of and only two hands to do it.
Dec 9, 2014 20:33:52 GMT -8
Canary La Muerte: it's too dang cold to be doing volunteer work for the city. I think i'll just wake up a little earlier and enjoy cocoa in the cafeteria.
Dec 11, 2014 17:18:59 GMT -8
Ichabod: But we have coffee and cocoa at the work cabin. It will be fun.
Dec 11, 2014 20:27:38 GMT -8
Kveldulf Argenlet: If graveyard work is insufficient, the park ranger of the Kumorai Forest informed me he needs volunteers to help remove invasive plants and dig fire ditches.
Dec 12, 2014 11:00:31 GMT -8
Lien Braska: He gave me towel duty once... i think the students get the idea. No monkey business.
Dec 14, 2014 11:25:43 GMT -8
Kveldulf Argenlet: There is an overwhelming amount of towels from the PE department that need washing, and frankly I'm rather tired of cleaning after your messes.
Dec 14, 2014 13:16:32 GMT -8
Ichabod: Isn't that part of the job description?
Dec 14, 2014 21:07:20 GMT -8
Silver Kinzoku: doesn't matter if it is... it can easily be pushed off onto a detention student. *smirk*
Dec 15, 2014 12:38:08 GMT -8
Zariah Marie Weaver: Ew... I wouldn't get caught dead washing those disgusting towels.
Dec 17, 2014 20:32:45 GMT -8
Renee Nakamura: Oh, do not worry. The nurses office has plenty of gloves and sanitary gels for the clean up. -Snickers-
Dec 19, 2014 20:11:38 GMT -8
Zariah Marie Weaver: I'm good. I'd rather just be smart and not get into trouble
Dec 28, 2014 16:58:38 GMT -8
Silver Kinzoku: Good to hear! Then things will run smooth.
